The Peak

Another experience or place that I would never forget when I was in Hong Kong was The Peak or commonly known as Victoria Peak. It is the highest point within Hong Kong and occupies the western part of the island.

The question is how do you reach Victoria Peak?

You can take the Peak Tram, this is a very exciting ride ascending the mountain. Did you know that the tram has been in operation for over one hundred years, and up to now, no accidents have ever occurred. Your trip throught the tram will take about eight minutes. When you reach the peak, you will see a seven storied building in the shape of a ship. This is what they call the Peak Tower in which there are several attractions that include, Madame Tussauds Hong Kong, Ripley's Believe It or Not! Odditorium, and the Peak Explorer Motion Simulator.

It was winter time when we last went to this place so it was freezing cold! So it's a must to bring your winter jacket with you during winter time. It is also advisable to go there at night so as not to miss the beautiful sites wherein lights are all over the city. The experience was so memorable that I would want to visit this place again.
