Best Shopping Malls in Bangkok

There are so many malls in Bangkok but what I will just share from Kwintessential the best shopping malls in Bangkok.

World trade Center Shopping Mall in Bangkok

The World Trade Center is one of the largest shopping malls in Bangkok that can best be described as a typically western mall. With its impressive size practically all of the same shops that you’d find in an American mall you will most probably find here. The World Trade Center Shopping Mall is located at the intersection of Ratchadamri and Rama 1 roads.

MBK Shopping Mall in Bangkok

The MBK (Mah Boon Krong) shopping mall is located on the intersection between Rama 1 and Phayathai roads. This is one of the most fashionable shopping malls in Bangkok and is particularly popular with the local youth who come here to do there clothes shopping. Prices here are generally slighter cheaper than other malls because there are many locally produced goods on sale here.

Nearby MBK is another smaller shopping mall called the Tokyu shopping mall that is worth a visit. It’s located at 444 Phayathai road.

Emporium Shopping Mall in Bangkok

If you are into designer fashion labels then this is the shopping mal in Bangkok for you. All of the major names in fashion have an outlet here, as well as a good selection of music and electronics stores. There is also a large cinema located on the top floor in addition to a food court incase you get hungry. Emporium shopping mall is located on Sukhumvit Soi 24.

Panthip Plaza Shopping Mall in Bangkok

The Panthip Plaza is located on Petchaburi road and dedicated mostly to electronics and computer stores so this is the place to come if you are looking for a laptop. There is also a lot of copied software available although this is often sold below the counter due to recent police crackdowns on the sale of pirated material.

Apart from these malls, day and night markets are also all over the city. My favorite is the Chatuchak market which I will be posting more next time.
